Before you start, check these quizzes.

Are you in a healthy relationship?
What is your result like? Are you in a relationship with a toxic partner? Did you have an abusive parent or a friend in the past?
Abuse takes many forms: physical, sexual, financial and emotional abuse. Emotional abuse is the hardest one to recognize because people might not be able to distinguish between jealousy and love. In addition, they deny being abused or fail to recognize that they are being emotionally abused. Abusive partners/friends/parents behave as if you were not there, shout at you in front of others or mock your intelligence when you make a mistake. They even make you question your mental health, which is called gaslighting.
Write a problem solution essay about emotionally abusive relationships. How can a person recognize that s/he is emotionally abused? How can one end this kind of relationship? Is there a chance to change the attitudes of the abuser? Who can help the victim to recover? (Family, friends, psychologists, a new partner, the government, etc.)
